This relaxed 5 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga adds extra time for photo stops and immersive experiences. Cross the High Atlas (Tizi n’Tichka), visit Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate studios, wind through Dades viewpoints, walk between the cliffs of the Todgha Gorge, then ride a camel into the Erg Chebbi dunes for sunset. With an extra day in Merzouga, you can enjoy an optional 4×4 loop, Gnawa village music, tea with nomads, or simply relax at your desert camp.

Itinerary — 5 Days / 4 Nights
Pick-up in Marrakech. Cross the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka with scenic stops.
Guided visit of Ait Benhaddou, quick photo at Ouarzazate studios.
Continue to Dades for dinner & overnight in a hotel.
After breakfast, explore Dades viewpoints. Continue to Todgha Gorge for a short walk
between the cliffs. Drive past Erfoud to Merzouga for a sunset camel trek over Erg Chebbi
to your desert camp (dinner & overnight).
Enjoy a relaxed morning. Optional 4×4 loop around the dunes, visit a Gnawa village,
tea with nomads (conditions permitting), fossil site stop. Free time for quad/buggy (extra) or sandboarding.
Overnight at camp or Merzouga hotel.
A flexible day to relax by the camp/hotel pool, explore palm groves or nearby villages. Golden-hour
photos on the dunes at sunset. Second night at camp or hotel (your choice).
Sunrise on the dunes and breakfast. Return to Marrakech with scenic stops for photos,
snacks and lunch. Evening drop-off at your hotel/riad.
